Our client is seeking an experienced Health, Safety, and Environment (HSE) Specialist to join their team. The successful candidate will be responsible for implementing and maintaining health, safety, and environmental programs to ensure compliance with regulations and promote a safe work environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- - Maintain health, safety, and environmental policies and procedures.
  - Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify potential hazards and recommend corrective actions.
  - Provide training to employees on health, safety, and environmental practices.
  - Investigate accidents and incidents to determine root causes and implement preventive measures.
  - Monitor regulatory changes and ensure compliance with local regulations.
  - Collaborate with management to develop safety goals and objectives.
  - Maintain records and reports related to health, safety, and environmental activities.
  Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in Occupational Health and Safety, Environmental Science, or related field.
- Certification in Occupational Health and Safety (e.g., NEBOSH, OSHA) is preferred.
- Proven experience working as an HSE Specialist in a similar industry.
- Strong knowledge of health, safety, and environmental regulations.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
