The Chief Shared Services Officer for HR, Procurement, and IT is a senior executive responsible for overseeing and managing shared services functions across multiple departments within the organization.
Key Roles and Responsibilities Strategic Vision & Leadership:
Develop and implement shared services strategies aligned with the company's overall goals and objectives.
Collaborate with department heads to understand their needs and ensure shared services are aligned with business requirements.
Cultivate a strong, transparent, and collaborative relationship with the Group CEO, providing comprehensive and insightful updates on all aspects of the business.
Service Delivery:
Oversee the delivery of HR, procurement, and IT services to internal stakeholders.
Ensure services are delivered efficiently, effectively, and in compliance with relevant policies and regulations.
Process Improvement:
Identify opportunities for process improvement within HR, procurement, and IT functions. Implement best practices and initiatives to enhance service delivery and efficiency.
Vendor Management:
Manage relationships with external vendors and service providers.
Negotiate contracts and agreements to ensure cost-effective and high-quality services.
Budget Management:
Develop and manage budgets for HR, procurement, and IT shared services functions.
Monitor expenditures and ensure compliance with budgetary constraints.
Performance Management:
Define key performance indicators (KPIs) for shared services functions.
Monitor and evaluate performance against KPIs and implement corrective actions as necessary.
Compliance and Risk Management:
Ensure compliance with relevant regulations, policies, and standards in HR, procurement, and IT functions.
Identify and mitigate risks associated with shared services operations.
Technology Integration:
Collaborate with the IT department to integrate technology solutions that enhance shared services delivery. Ensure alignment between technology initiatives and business requirements.

Service Level Agreements (SLAs)
Percentage of HR, procurement, and IT services delivered within agreed SLAs.
Cost Saving:
Percentage reduction in costs associated with shared services functions.
Process Efficiency:

Vendor Efficiency:
Evaluation of vendor performance against predefined criteria, such as quality, timeliness, and cost-effectiveness.
Experience, Educational Requirements, and Skill Set:
Years of Professional Experience:
Minimum of 20 years' experience in HR, Procurement, and IT turnaround strategy, with at least 10 years in senior executive leadership roles.
Proven track record in managing complex, global operations with multiple subsidiaries.
Extensive experience in financial management, strategic planning, and operational excellence.
Possesses executive presence and excellent communication skills.
Understanding of technology solutions, digital transformation, and agribusiness is a plus.
Education:
Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Human Resources, IT, Procurement, or a related field. An advanced degree is preferred.
An advanced degree (Full-Time MBA or equivalent from a premier institute) is strongly preferred.
