We are seeking a proactive and results-driven Senior Sales Manager to spearhead our sales efforts and ensure the achievement of sales, distribution, and visibility objectives in harmony with our Channel and Brand strategies. This role involves a high degree of collaboration with the Commercial Director and necessitates strong leadership qualities to inspire and guide the frontline sales team. Key Deliverables:
Sales Execution: Drive the team to meet or exceed sales targets in accordance with company goals.
Distribution & Visibility: Ensure optimal product distribution and brand visibility across channels.
Profitability: Negotiate effectively and implement control measures to maximize return on investments.
Team Leadership: Provide on-the-job coaching and mentoring to enhance team performance.
Strategy Implementation: Execute customer and channel plans effectively, ensuring alignment with agreements.
Business Review: Regularly assess business performance with key accounts to identify growth opportunities.
Inventory Management: Forecast sales accurately and manage stock levels to align with company priorities.
Financial Oversight: Guarantee timely payment collections, conduct reconciliations, and manage Principal recoveries.
Market Presence: Maintain a consistent market presence to gather intelligence, monitor competitors, and nurture commercial relationships.
Qualifying Criteria:
Experience: Minimum 6-8 years in the GCC market within the Food or FMCG sector; at least 4 years in a team leadership role.
Track Record: Demonstrated ability in handling multiple brands and tasks simultaneously.
Sales Expertise: Comprehensive knowledge of sales management pertaining to Principals, Customers, and Sales teams.
Education: Bachelor's degree required; MBA or equivalent postgraduate degree preferred.
