Plan, direct and coordinate the research and development activities in COMPANY and ensure that all the research activities are performed as scheduled.
Prepare research and development section budget in coordination with research staff and present it to Group R&D Manager for discussion.
Recommend and develop plan for the development of new products, improvement of existing product and cost saving projects.
Research on new government policies and regulations and recommend changes on company policies and procedures.
Consult and get advice from government officials and other organizations on legislative policy, research and laboratory issues.
Analyze statistical data and reports to identify and determine causes of problems and recommend improvement of laboratory practices, procedures or research programs.
Attend seminars and technical training inside and outside COMPANY for the improvement of employees’ competencies.
Manage the laboratory and research staff and provide consultation, supervision and liaison activities.
Conduct competitor product evaluation for development of new products and to understand and compare our product performance.
Involve in registration of newly developed product in coordination with Legal department and facilitate them with required details and documents.
Attend the meeting with suppliers in coordination with Purchase department for the quality assessment raw materials.
Master’s /Bachelor’s degree in Chemistry
At least 5 years of experience as an R&D Manager in a chemical manufacturing company.
